If you read this blog regularly or follow me on twitter you’ll probably know that Bulldog are one of my favourite affordable grooming brands. Penny for penny they’re they best products out there and I love their natural, animal-friendly approach to skincare.
Their latest offering is this roll-on deodorant, which is free of nasties like parabens, synthetic fragrances or artificial colours. It also has the signature Bulldog smell (no, not of dog but of a distinctive blend of eight essential oils including bergamot, lemon, geranium, oak moss and vetivert. What’s more it also contains skin-soothing aloe vera to keep your pits in tip-top condition.
So how does it perform? Well, excellently for a deodorant. You have to bear in mind, of course, that deos are designed to keep you smelling fresh not to prevent you sweating (that’s where anti-perspirants come in). It’s ideal for those times when you know you’re not going to be sweltering, perhaps after a work-out, when you’re heading off for a meal or dinner party or are just kicking back around the house. It’s certainly better than most deos out there – for the smell alone – so definitely gets the thumbs (or should that be arms?) up from me.
